A WHOLE STORY.
The Z film introduces Broly within Paragus’ scheme on New Planet Vegeta. His transformed identity is explicitly called Legendary Super Saiyan in official releases. The massive build and relentless attacks create a very different characterization from the later Super film.
Both incarnations share a name and part of their visual vocabulary, but they do not share one biography. This entry covers the Z movie character. It also avoids treating later Heroes power-ups as transformations that happened in those original movies.
