06 / 06THE CHANGING SHAPE OF POWER
A STORY.
A NEW PERSPECTIVE.
DAIMA reworks the physical scale of Goku and his companions and sends them into the Demon Realm. The adventure combines unusual environments with precise martial choreography before escalating toward the conflict with Gomah. Goku’s smaller silhouette makes every weapon, jump, and opponent feel different.
Its major Saiyan developments include Vegeta’s Super Saiyan 3 and Goku’s DAIMA-specific Super Saiyan 4. The official character labels support treating these as their own appearances. For a drawing study, compare how the same warrior’s essential hair, face, and posture remain readable across miniature and adult proportions.

Rebuild the proportions
A smaller body changes the relationship between head, torso, and limbs. Establish those proportions before bringing back the familiar costume and hair.
Make the world feel larger
A low viewpoint and a larger surrounding environment can change the sense of adventure. Scale belongs to the composition as well as the character.
Study the specific appearance
Use the DAIMA reference for its Super Saiyan 4 design. The source label is a useful drawing instruction: it tells you which version to observe.
