A FIGHTER.
A WHOLE STORY.
Bardock has multiple portrayals across Dragon Ball. The original television special, the later Super-era history, and Episode of Bardock should not be compressed into one uninterrupted biography. This entry is specifically the spin-off incarnation associated with his golden awakening.
Episode of Bardock places him on Planet Plant, where Ipana and Berry are part of the story. Official games also depict Super Saiyan Bardock. That appearance does not establish that the Bardock who confronted Frieza in every version of history possessed the transformation.
