A WHOLE STORY.
Gohan learns to sustain Super Saiyan through training with Goku, then reaches Super Saiyan 2 during the Cell Games. His purple fighting clothes also honor the influence of Piccolo, a teacher whose role remains central long after that early breakthrough.
The Elder Supreme Kai’s potential release and the later Beast awakening give Gohan developments outside the numbered golden forms. In SUPER HERO, his use of the Special Beam Cannon connects a spectacular new appearance to an old student-and-teacher bond.
