A FIGHTER.
A WHOLE STORY.
This Trunks has a very different childhood from the time traveler. He reaches Super Saiyan while still young and brings confidence, competitiveness, and mischief to his friendship with Goten. Their junior tournament rivalry gives way to learning a much more demanding shared skill.
Fusion produces Gotenks, with its own temperament and transformation repertoire. Present Trunks and Future Trunks remain separate people shaped by different histories; the sword-bearing survivor’s experiences should not be silently applied to the boy growing up on a more peaceful Earth.
